Face-to-faceWed, 13/02/2008In discussing how to end poverty in South Asia, we often get so caught up in the statistics and policy discussions that we forget that we are talking about the lives of real people. But a magnificent photography exhibit by my colleague Michael Foley displayed in the hall outside my office, serves as a constant reminder of whom we are working for.

Wed, 02/27/2008 - 09:08 Though some of the statistics show real progess signs in South Asia and the actual signs of poverty is not shown because of the poor statistical systems in South Asia. Most of the researchers base their theories on statistical systems which are very biased and does not really show the true sense of what's happening.
